Nigel raises over £6,000 for Summit!

Nigel raises over £6,000 for Summit! Big congratulations and an even bigger thank you to our London Marathon runner, Nigel Savory, who completed this year’s race on behalf of the XLL Trust in under four hours. An incredible personal achievement for Nigel who set a new personal best and one that will make a lasting impact on the children of the Summit Schools. The XLL Trust’s London Marathon!

The XLL Trust’s London Marathon! Fantastic news; we have been lucky enough to secure a place in this year’s  Virgin Money London Marathon! Nigel Savory, who will run on behalf of the XLL Educational Trust, is a keen runner and has completed two previous marathons. This year hopes to get round the 26.2 miles in under 4 hours. A visit to Summit

A visit to Summit In December of last year Jefferson Cann and Nigel Linacre of Extraordinary Leadership took the opportunity of a business trip to Kenya to call in on James and Karen at the Summit Schools to see how things were progressing.  They found an unusually quiet and calm environment as the children were on holiday and the orphans who stay permanently at the school were on a short day trip.  James was well and Karen had recovered from a recent illness and was almost back to her fully active self! Summit Newsletter November 2014 Dear Friends The end of the third term of 2014 is here with us.  It is usually the shortest term, but also the busiest of them all.  It is the icing on the cake for the ending year, especially with the 2 sets of National Exams: KCPE for Class 8 20 students sat for this exam and we expect the results anytime after Christmas. KCSE for Form 4 Summit has 22 students siting for this exam.
